The “SoCal Rock and Soul Band” is dynamic, high energy, eight piece powerhouse band.

These musical masters deliver an upbeat show of current hits, Motown soul, 80's and 90's dance hits, Rock Classics, Chicago blues and Country.

The band' lineup showcases our two soulful lead vocalists, a dynamic three-piece horn section, and a rock solid rhythm section.

The SoCal Rock and Soul Band is available to perform at clubs and venues. From local night clubs, to corporate events, dinner clubs, parties, weddings, music festivals, and local fairs and concerts in the park.

Bruce McCoy

Guitar & Vocals
Bruce is an outstanding vocalist, guitarist and engineer. He is can emulate many different styles of singing and playing and has performed in countless venues throughout Southern California. He has performed with, shared the stage with Huey Lewis, Bill Medley, Bobby Hatfield/The Righteous Brothers, Bob Weir/Grateful Dead, David Letterman Band, Hans Zimmer/Composer/Lion King, David Letterman Band, Glen Campbell, Dick Dale and Jan & Dean.

Bruce Gallucci

Sax & Vocals
Bruce attended Berklee College of Music in Boston where he played with many of the most popular club bands in town. He joined the Navy band and spent years touring Europe with various Navy Show Bands and Jazz Combos. Since moving to Southern California, he has played with and led a variety of Orange and Los Angeles County bands. He has earned the reputation for singing and sounding exactly like Louie “Satchmo” Armstrong!

Dan Erfurt

Drums
Dan began playing professionally at the young age of 18 in local night clubs in Southern California. He then joined up with the Bob Gulley Band for the next decade. Later, he toured Asia with the USO, where he played venues ranging from mountain to missile sites, to the USS Ranger aircraft carrier. Since then, he has played with a variety of bands, including a show band featuring Darlene Love.

Tegan Taylor

Vocals
Formerly the Lead singer of the Sony recording group “The Pin-ups”, Tegan has been performing and recording internationally with some of the greatest acts in music. Among her Credits, Tegan was one of the original “Mary Jane Girls” on Motown Records. She was also produced by legendary producing team Brian and Edward Holland of HDH/Gold Forever Records. She has performed and recorded internationally as a solo artist, as well as with her original band “Tegan and The Tumbleweeds” currently streaming worldwide.

Martin Winer

Keyboards & Vocals
Martin is a Graduate of Cal State Fullerton with a degree in music. He Studied with Lester Remsen (1st trumpet La Philharmonic) and Malcolm McNab. Martin has had an extensive musical background, and has performed with and opened for many musical icons and celebrities, such as: Stevie Wonder, Johnny Otis, Tom Ranier (arranger for “Dancing with the Stars”), Bruce Healey (composer of “Fantasmic”) and Gordon Goodwin. He has performed and conducted bands at the Reno Jazz Festival and Catalina Island for many years, and was a nominee for the Bravo Award.

Tom Shearer

Trumpet
Tom has been a pro player and trumpet teacher for more than 30 years. He has performed with some of the area’s best cover bands: The Hunting Party, the Riversider, the New FBI, Rhythm Connection and Night Moves. Tom has also played with legendary blues players: Big Jay McNeely, Kenny Cetera of Chicago, Ellis Hall of Tower of Power, Laura Angelini (vocalist for Andy Williams), Adrian Tapia, and Wayne Bergeron. Tom recorded for the albums of David Catlin, and Jesse Lagmay, in addition to recording his own album..

Kelly Dean

Trombone
Kelly began his musical career in Fountain Valley High as a member of the Youth band and continued with the Golden West College Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Band. In he performed in the Disneyland Band in Christmas Fantasy on Parade, and for 10 years with the American Ingenuity Dixieland band. Kelly founded and performed in the Moonlight Express Big Band for over 23 years, while performing in Saddleback and Irvine Valley College Jazz Ensembles. In addition, he continued performing with the South Coast Swing Band, the Polytechnic Brass Quintet and the Golden West Pops Community Band.

Danny Franklin

Bass
Danny was introduced to the bass by Timothy B Schmit at age 15, then while majoring in music at ARC, joined the band Funk'n Jive and worked the West Coast club circuit until joining Double Entente who landed a record contract with Columbia Records. Double Entente produced the single "Sleeping Dogs" which climbed to #4 on Billboard's Dance Charts 1984. He spent 14 years as the bassist for the Orange County School of the Arts Pop Vocal Concerts while holding down the bottom for numerous LA and OC cover bands. Danny provides a perfect "bottom" from which the band get their unstoppable groove.
